  Happy Christmas from Kyoto, Japan. We used our avios and companion voucher to fly Club World to Tokyo and travel around Japan for 2 weeks; we have our next points and companion voucher trip to Montreal for our honeymoon in July next year. The advice on this website has been invaluable and everything we’ve learned from here has enabled us to have some amazing travel experiences (our favourite being the hotels.com 10 nights = 1 night free scheme).

  After 15 years of Christmas holidays in different locations around the world with extended family, this year I’m stuck in London because the family couldn’t agree on a location for the celebration, with lots of last minute ifs and buts…

  Happy Christmas from Buenos Aires. Sat in the aeroparque waiting for our flight to Iguazu.
  Amex 241 booked both ways at midnight and domestic flights courtesy of the £200 off Amex offer at the start of the year. Meliá iguazzu on points bought in last years Amazon deal, amazing deal given the reassuringly expensive rates for cash!

  Driving to Saint Augustine, FL. Got upgraded to PE on AA and kids sat in the cockpit when landed at MIA. One bag delayed at CDG, but not a big deal as it’s Christmas! Have a good one wherever you are!
