Loganair has announced that it is moving its London Stansted to Dundee service to London City.
The route operates 11 times per week, with two flights per day during the week and one on Sunday. The aircraft, an ATR42-500, only seats 48 people so it is not over ambitious.
The change will kick in from the launch of the Summer timetable on 29th March.
The Government is underwriting the cost of the route as part of its ‘Public Service Obligation’ programme, which supports flights to London from parts of the UK where they would not otherwise be economically viable.
Loganair is also launching Dundee to Belfast from April 2020.
Our review of Clan Loganair, Loganair’s loyalty programme, is here. Note that the airline recently tightened up its expiry policy as I covered here.
