More British Airways routes getting the new Club Suite business class

After yesterday’s news that Philadelphia and Washington DC were getting the A350 and Dallas and Seattle getting the 787-10 both with Club Suite, it looks like British Airways has now fully rostered the A350 fleet for the Summer schedule.

In April, this means we will see the A350 on:

Bangalore (BA119/BA118)

Dubai (BA109/BA108)

Austin (BA191/BA190)

British Airways A350 Club Suite

…. as well as the previously announced Philadelphia (BA67/BA66) and Washington DC (BA293/BA292).

From June Tel Aviv will see the return of the A350 (BA167/BA166), whilst Tokyo will see it come July (BA5/BA4). Boston will get it in August (BA203/BA202).

Toronto is notably missing. Whilst Toronto was one of the first destinations to get the A350 it looks like it will no longer serve on that route. This list looks exhaustive, given the limited number of deliveries that British Airways will be taking from Airbus. I wouldn’t expect any more routes to get the A350 until later in 2020.

There are no additional routes for the 787-10 yet. Atlanta, Dallas and Seattle have already been announced.

That Virgin change is pretty major. I’ve heard nothing yet – how have others heard? Presumably they need to give 30 days notice of this change?

    I’ve got a reasonable limit so if I max it out I’d still be generating plenty more miles than the annual fee. Judy annoying to not be able to push more through it.

    Booked on London to Toronto – outbound on 24 June BA093 is currently showing as a 787 with old club world layout, inbound on 1 July showing as 777 with clubsuite seat map. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if there are any changes to this ?

Rob come on, you should know the BA4 is the now-redundant second JFK-LCY service… not NRT-LHR, which is the BA6. I know it’s nearly Christmas but that’s just sloppy!!

A few months ago I did try to cycle with Capital on Tap. I called them to get their bank details but they refused to give them to me and said that you could only pay by direct debit, effectively banning cycling. Have they now changed their policy?

  That would be illegal/unfair for consumers and possibly small business, effectively preventing any method to stop compound interest from accruing during the statement period. Perhaps ask them directly how they expect you avoid this charge.

Made enquiry previously to SNO when you ran this they emailed a couple of days ago (so it took them weeks/months?) saying they would close off my enquiry; so deals might be good but their customer service is decidedly lacking. I asked them to answer my initial question; they chose not to.

Do members get ihg points on spend in the hotel I.e drinks and dinner. I read only certain rates do and I booked the cyber rate rather than a best available. So not going to spend heavy if I don’t get the points ?

  All rates earn on food and drink if charged to room and if hotel runs the restaurant (which in 99% of cases it does).

  I have it but don’t go out of my way to put spend through it. The way the 0.5% is paid is a bit of a disincentive really, but it does see very occasional use abroad. I much prefer other rewards cards with monthly credits.

  I use it heavily for HFP stuff since we have a lot of $ spend. I have zero emotional attachment to the card, however, which is odd (and shows the power of points over cash) given how much I put through it.

Tokyo (Narita) is BA5/6.
