There is very little happening this fortnight. You’ll mostly find a bunch of hotel promotions – pretty much all the major chains are offering some sort of points bonus or sale – so now is a good time to top up your account to secure future reward stays.

The Nutmeg ISA offer is also worth mentioning. Depending on your investment total you could earn up to 150,000 Avios.

Tuesday 8th October

Sunday 13th October

Thursday 17th October

Last day to register for the Autumn IHG Accelerate promotion (stay by December). Article and Register.

Last day to get a 40% bonus when buying World of Hyatt points. Article.

Last day to get a 30% bonus when buying Marriott Bonvoy points. Article.

Friday 18th October

Last chance to get 50% bonus Avios on Accor bookings (stay by 31st October). Article.

Last day for 5250 Avios from Billy Hill, bingo! – £25 upfront (worse case scenario 0.5p/ point) but you can get most of that back if you switch to roulette black/ red (menu in top address bar)

        You need to bet £25 to get £25.25 back. Low risk roulette bets are excluded. Highly likely you will lose your initial stake so your profit is 25p. I know what I would do. Not bother.

        as it happened my son bet £25, got back £15 on black/ white strategy – so it basically cost £10 to get £52.50 in Avios or whatever

OT Amex & billing dates
Does anyone know if it is possible to change the date every year membership renews? Eg say I have the PRGCC that renews 12 August every year but I would like to bring that forward to 1 July, can this be done? This would mean shortening my free year so Amex would be getting my year 2 fee earlier so could be a minuscule win for them?
