The Virgin Atlantic credit cards are finally on Apple Pay

Almost 18 months after they launched, you can finally use the two Virgin Atlantic credit cards with Apple Pay.

We believe there was some contractual reason why Virgin Money could not offer this.  As Virgin Money has now been taken over by Clydesdale / Yorkshire Bank, this issue may have gone away.

Coupled with the Virgin Money app, launched earlier this year, the Virgin Atlantic credit cards now appear to have caught up with the modern world.

I wouldn’t necessarily apply today, however, as there is currently no ‘enhanced’ sign-up promotion of any sort – although the usual 5,000 mile / 15,000 mile bonus is on.  We honestly have no idea if there is anything in the pipeline, but I’m sure a new inducement will be along sooner rather than later.

How to earn Virgin Points from UK credit cards (December 2021)
