You can now use Priority Pass and Lounge Club to access the Clubrooms lounge at Luton Airport.

You may be familiar with the luxury ‘Clubrooms’ airport lounge brand thanks to their presence at other airports – a reader reviewed one recently at Birmingham Airport.

The Clubrooms are owned and operated by lounge group No 1 Lounges, and Clubrooms is one of their premium lounge offerings.  In general, you can expect some beautifully designed spaces as well as premium spirits and an a la carte menu.

Luton Clubrooms airport lounge

The Luton Clubrooms has just opened.  A potential trip out of Luton just fell through so our review will have to wait a few weeks, but I am hoping that it will showcase the best of the brand.  It is open from 4:30am until 9:30pm, next to Gate 17.

The good news is that the Luton Clubrooms will now be available with Priority Pass (available with the American Express Platinum Card), LoungeKey (with HSBC Premier) and Lounge Club (two free passes with the free American Express Gold card) although you will have to pay an additional £10 fee on the door.  This reflects the higher quality of the lounge and the fact that it only has a capacity of 65 people.

Until now, you have only been able to get in with a DragonPass, paying the £10 supplement.  This is a MASSIVE boost for Priority Pass customers at Luton who are often turned away from the bursting Aspire lounge which we reviewed here.

If you want to guarantee entry to Clubrooms, you can reserve a slot for £15 via this page of the No 1 site.  The cost of £15 comprises the £10 ‘buy up’ fee and a £5 reservation fee.

You can see more information on the Priority Pass website or the No 1 Lounges Luton website.  Note that no children under 5 are allowed.
