It includes this picture.  If you click to enlarge, you might see yourself on there somewhere – I am there, my face partially hidden, in a grey jacket (look straight down from the barman top right in the white shirt), my wife is the blonde with the white top in front of me.  It was probably the oldest crowd she had ever played to ….

    O/T • Hilton Barclaycard

Is it possible to add a supplementary card to an account? If it is, how arduous a process is it?

    Thank you! 🙂

  • Sussex Bantam says:

Hi Rob – how do you know

“You can arrive whenever you want, however – nothing stops you turning up at 4pm and staying until 9pm”.

Girls netball finishes at 3 that day nearby. Would work well if we could go into Legoland at 4 – not too keen on hanging around until 6 !

    • Bobstar says:

Likewise, I would be keen to know – the Legoland site is ambiguous on when you can enter. Also, there is no information on parking – so unclear what you do if turning up before 6pm.

  • Jonathan says:

OT – who do you contact again to request Virgin Money overturn a credit card application? TIA

    • Jtz says:

Virgin Money at Jubilee House, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 4PL

Also below because when I called to ask about the phone agent told me to send to address below as they haven’t received it

Tesco offering 25% off 6 bottles of wine until 8/7. The Trivento Malbec is very decent, and already reduced from £8 to £6.

  • PaulC says:

OT – has anyone ever had a Lloyd’s Avios Card stop working whilst abroad used via Curve? Was absolutely fine all last week, stopped using it over the weekend due to fees and then has been declined every time since Monday. Could it be Lloyd’s that have blocked it?

  • Alex says:

Anyone think a friend could sign up to BAEC then purchase these Legoland tickets with their newly created account?

I’m a BAEC member but I won’t be able to go but the friend is not and would like to go.

    • Shoestring says:

google [www.legoland.co.uk “BA2019”] to bring up the offer

    • Rob says:

Abosolutely fine. In fact I was thinking of doing a Shopper Points article suggesting that!

  • Bob says:

OT – Hilton advice please, for points and money bookings are you able to apply additional points to a booking to reduce the cash element after a booking has been made? Tried to find out through the Hilton live chat but not every helpful, I think you can but wondering if anyone knows for sure, thanks.

  • Delbert says:

Just had an email from Hilton with an offer to purchase either 40k points + 40k points for free for $400 or 80k points + 80k points for free at $800.

Is this a good offer? Thanks.

    • Delbert says:

Forgot to mention that I’ve also received an email today from Accor Le Club with details of the annual online competition – Around the Clock. From today through 10 July.

      • Shoestring says:

        • Shoestring says:

my son just got me 1120 and that still didn’t win!

          better luck tomorrow

        • Delbert says:

          +1

        • Shoestring says:

hey Delbert looks like we can enter the Auckland competition at 10pm 🙂

You need to use 10 fingers on a tablet with screen set to maximum sensitivity…

        • Shoestring says:

good thinking, got it set up for New York at 10pm

        • David says:

Does it actually matter how many clicks you get? It looks like the clicking will give you points in the game, but then it’s a separate lottery on whether or not your game points actually get converted to Accor points. At that point, whether you got 950 or 1200 makes a small amount of difference, but the bigger question is whether you win the conversion lottery.

    • Anna says:

It depends what value you’re going to get from the Hilton points, it’s only really worth it if you need to top up your account for a redemption or will use them in lieu of a very expensive cash booking.
