Who won our Etihad competition?

Two weeks ago we ran a competition with Etihad to promote their new daily Boeing 787 flights from Heathrow, giving away tickets to see either Muse or Metallica live at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

As a reminder, Etihad has now launched the new daily flights from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi which are in addition to the existing three A380 services. The new Boeing 787 flights will use the same Business Class Studio seat which is on the A380 and which Rob reviewed here and rated very highly.

There will be four daily flights between 26th May and 22nd June, increasing to five daily flights from 23rd June until 28th September. After that it will return to four daily flights until the end of the Summer season on 26th October.

How to earn Etihad Guest miles from UK credit cards (December 2021)

Membership Rewards points convert at 1:1 into Etihad Guest miles which is an attractive rate. The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 1 Etihad Guest mile. The Gold card earns double points (2 per £1) on all flights you charge to it.

Etihad Guest is also a partner with the HSBC Premier Mastercard (0.5 miles per £1 spent) and HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard (1 mile per £1 spent).
