ENDS TUESDAY: Virgin Atlantic Bank Holiday flight sale deals now on

Virgin Atlantic has launched special Bank Holiday deals with decent prices in Upper Class and Economy.

Until Tuesday 28th May you can find reduced fares on flights to the US and the Caribbean this Summer.

There are also special fares out of Manchester to the US which you can book until Friday 31st May.

There are also ‘flight and hotel’ deals which can be found here – the advertised saving is ‘10% off’ packages.

Looking at Upper Class, there are some deals available for travel during July and August (Sunday night stay required):

Upper Class prices out of London are:

New York from £1,881 return
Washington from £1,631 return
Boston from £1,856 return

Upper Class prices out of Manchester are:

New York from £1,560 return

There are also some decent lead-in deals in Economy to the US and the Caribbean.

These flights have to be booked by Tuesday 28th May for travel between 1st July and 31st August.

Economy flights from London and Manchester to the US have to be booked by Friday 31st May.  Travel dates vary by city but you are generally looking at Autumn or early 2020 travel to get the prices below.

To maximise your miles when paying, your best bet is one of the two Virgin Atlantic Reward credit cards.  These earn double miles (3 per £1 on the paid card or 1.5 per £1 on the free card) when you book at virginatlantic.com or via Virgin Holidays.

Another option is American Express Preferred Rewards Gold which offers double points – 2 per £1 – when you book flight tickets directly with an airline.
