I did an article on Friday on the new Hilton Honors ‘double points’ promotion, called ‘Go More, Get More’. This is valid for stays from 6th May.
You can register for it here.
The offer is actually more generous than I thought. On top of double base points for every stays, starting from your second stay, you also receive:
10,000 bonus points after 10 stays
15,000 bonus points after 15 stays
20,000 bonus points after 20 stays
I thought these were all part of the same target, so anyone who completed 20 stays by 8th September would get an extra 20,000 bonus points.
I was wrong. The additional bonus is cumulative. This means that you actually earn:
10,000 bonus points after 10 stays
+ a further 15,000 bonus points after 15 stays (total of 25,000)
+ a further 20,000 bonus points after 20 stays (total of 45,000)
For someone completing exactly 20 stays between 6th May and 8th September, the additional 45,000 bonus points works out at 2,250 per stay. Based on my 0.33p valuation of a Hilton point, you are getting an extra £7.42 of points per stay.
And remember, this is ON TOP of ‘double base points’ and on top of your standard base points and standard status bonus. Not too shabby. I have amended the original article to reflect this.
