  Merry Christmas to Rob and Anika and their families. Not away at Christmas – just celebrating quietly with daughter and elderly in laws in Dundee. Spent the past few days reading and researching our 2020 travels – aiming to go to Hawaii and the Pacific Northwest coast states. So many places to visit….   Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and New Year! We’re at home in the chilly North but we had a great stay at the Manchester Hilton the other night, DBB for £115 and gold status got us a free upgrade to an executive room with 23rd floor lounge access. Then 6,200 HH points appeared in my account the next day, nice little Xmas bonus.

  Merry Christmas to one and all from Hong Kong! Off to Singapore for New Year then on to Phu Quoc.

  I also learnt the lesson of carrying different miles schemes is great but a little more preparation is needed as my SQ J seats were snapped before the Amex were transferred over. £250 for 4 hours in Y on Scoot is my reward!
