Air China
Air China’s stunning £1340 business class deals from Germany to Australia and New Zealand are still available. Full details are in this article.
Air France KLM
This one looks genuinely good in Business Class. Book by Monday. Deals include Amman at £979, Tokyo £1589, Shanghai £1669, Dubai £1349 etc. Details are here. Economy and Premium Economy deals also available.
Air New Zealand
ANZ has deals to Los Angeles – Economy £299, Premium Economy £699, Business Premier £2099. A reader emailed to say that code LA30 takes an additional £30 off, meaning that you can fly Air New Zealand to LA in Economy for just £269 return. Book by Monday, travel dates vary by class. Full details are on their site here.
Avis
Avis and British Airways have come together to launch a very generous Black Friday deal which actually runs until Tuesday evening. Blacklane – save 20%
Chauffeur / executive cars group Blacklane is offering 20% off rides TODAY, Monday (you can book for a future date) using code CYBERMONDAYBL2018. This is valid for one booking per account only.
We have started to use Blacklane at non-UK airports, especially when we are with the kids and I would prefer to have a driver at the gate waiting for me. You can also earn airline miles on Blacklane bookings, although not with BA or Virgin. You can sign up for a Blacklane account here.
Business Traveller magazine
Save 40% on a subscription and – most interestingly – get free Platinum status in the GHA Discovery hotel loyalty programme. Details in this article. You can pay as little as £16.49.
Cathay Pacific
Various deals available in all classes to Asia, Australia and New Zealand – worth a look but they are not the most aggressive offers I have ever seen. Book by 30th November. Details are here.
Conde Nast Traveller – £19 for a year
This deal has been extended to today, Monday. You can buy a 1-year subscription for £19. The same deal applies to GQ, Vanity Fair, Tatler, Vogue, Wired etc. The link is here.

The airline is offering 100,000 seats across its network for £25 one-way. You must book by Monday night for travel between 8th December and 27th March 2019. Your booking will also qualify for ‘double Avios’ if you travel during the right dates – we covered that new promotion here. Full details of the Flybe Black Friday deal are here.

As you can see here, there are some sharp discounts:
- 40% off Standard membership (reduced to £41 from £69) – no free visits, you and your guests pay £20 each time
- 25% off Standard Plus membership (reduced to £141 from £189) – 10 free visits then £20 for every additional visit or for every guest visit
- 25% off Prestige membership (reduced to £254 from £339) – all your visits are free, your guests pay £20 each time
The best deal, to my mind, is Standard Plus. You are paying £14.10 per lounge visit which is pretty decent. You can find out more, and purchase, on this special page of the Priority Pass website. The offer runs to 30th November after an extension.
