British Airways schedules its final Boeing 767 services

Airlineroute reports that, subject to any further extensions, the final Boeing 767 (the two aisle short/mid-haul aircraft) will leave the British Airways fleet on 25th November when it returns from Larnaca.

From the start of the Winter timetable on 28th October, the 767 fleet will operate:

London Heathrow – Amsterdam 5 weekly until 6th November
London Heathrow – Athens 6 weekly until 2nd November

London Heathrow – Edinburgh 1 daily until 31st October
London Heathrow – Larnaca 1 daily until 25th November
London Heathrow – Rome 1 flight on 3rd November
London Heathrow – Stockholm Arlanda 4 weekly until 31st October

It’s fair to say that these are not the most modern aircraft in the BA fleet – the regular random pinging of call bells is a common complaint, something which gets annoying on a four hour flight, as are complaints over water leakage from the galley running down the cabin. 

And the broken seats.  And arm rests.  And tray tables.  And the locked-out loos ….
