The photographs here (click to enlarge) were sent in by three different readers and show The White Rose Suite.  This is the Priority Pass / Lounge Club lounge – interestingly, they are using the ‘middle’ one in terms of pricing.

The feedback so far is average – “nice furniture”, “sterile”, “much bigger than before”, “very quiet”, “tiny toilets”, “run of the mill food”, “table too close together”, “not the best quality”, “sawdust smell”, “only a couple of plugs”, “extremely sad and dry bacon rolls”.

It is certainly nothing to convince me that The White Rose Suite is worth £30 cash.  It is still early days though.

You can pre-book for cash for on the Leeds Bradford website here.

Shame they decided on three naff lounges rather than just putting their energy into making one decent one. I live in West London but I’m originally from Harrogate so I usually do LHR/LBA if I need to go back for any reason. The fact that the Yorkshire Pudding Lounge has served little more than baked potato and a sad little salad trolley for years was probably an indicator of their true appetite for any sort of meaningful investment and improvement. Sounds like the model has back-fired on them as well given that one of the comments listed is “very quiet”.
