A few days ago we wrote about the current quarter’s Clubcard to Avios and Clubcard to Flying Club offers.  BA hadn’t confirmed a special deal at that time but we have more info now.

If you convert your Clubcard points to Avios via a British Airways Executive Club account you can win a trip to Kefalonia.

The prize is two return BA Club Europe flights from London Heathrow and three nights at one of three hotels (the winner can choose between Ionian Emerald 5*, Kefalonia Grand 4* and Avithos Resort 4*).  The winner must be one of the people travelling. The prize is valid between 15th May and 31st August 2018.

Every £5 of Clubcard vouchers you convert gives you one entry.  Auto-conversions get two entries per £5.

The deadline to convert is 31st March.

Should you convert to Avios via BA or avios.com?   Assuming you are bothered about the two competitions, the BA prize is worth around £1,000 – £1,200 I think.

The avios.com competition has a total prize pot of £10,000.  However, the largest avios.com prize is 50,000 Avios which we’d value at £500.  Therefore the question is whether you would like more chances to win a prize (via avios.com) or win the prize with the highest value (via ba.com) ……
