    Just main. Login to the separate supp account and add offers there (you will need to create this if not done so already and it may then take a while for offers to appear).

  Not sure this is correct about BA cancellation. I booked a return Club europe trip to Prague. I wanted to cancel the return flight. I was returned £17.50 for the original booking but then charged £35.00 cancellation fee.

    Yes, outside the initial 24 hrs, you will be charged a cancellation fee too. If you just cancel on line, your avios are refunded and you lose the £17.50. 24 hrs before you travel tho. Ba must make a fortune in cancellation fees or keeping the multiple x £17.50 that people think is too cheap. It’s the flexibility that benefits us. The odd time, we have had to change plans completely, and just cancelled the dub lhr leg which was around £11. Avios returned but lose the cash. Cheaper to do that and just book a new avios flight.

      But they lose a fortune any time someone uses the CX / QF / AA lounge on an RFS ticket and even for T5 departures I would think they barely break even.

        They wouldn’t break even at all. What are the airport fees and APD for a short haul Heathrow flight – something like £30-40?

    Could someone clarify if a £35 cancellation charge is charged on top of loosing the initial fee paid. I booked a one-way RFS LUX-LHR for 4500 Avios + £3. What happens if I cancel?

      If you cancel online my understanding is you only lose the £3, i.e. because what you paid is under £35. I am a bit confused by the above comments by Rich and Polly but I think Polly is saying the same thing.

      You lose your £3. You won’t be charged anything further and you’ll get your Avios back in full. This assumes you cancel more than 24 after you book and before you fly.

        Exactly. But if you call up they are obliged to charge you a cancellation fee.
        One time in CPH we wanted to change an rfs back to LHR. Ba chap himself told me cheaper to just buy a new rfs ticket. So we lost the avios, as it was on the same day. But didn’t have to pay a cancellation fee either per person! Crazy system.

    None on any of our cards either. They probably noted we are Tesco or Waitrose users and wouldn’t bother!

        Ha! I am in Waitrose literally every day when in the uk! It’s got a great covered parking… but Tesco gets The rest of our dosh. In Dub all my lot go to ALDI. It’s the closest…Now l can even use my amex when am there. Amazing.

  That short notice booking on ba.com v v useful. I was making my booking as l was speeding (in a cab, not driving) towards t5 for a big emergency. I literally was paying as the cab pulled up. It’s a fantastic benefit. And esp the option to change a booking within 24 hrs of making it. We have benefitted from that quite often, one time within 20 mins of the 24 hrs. That was one frantic call to ba silver line!

  Re Avios canx. I booked a flight last week via avios.com and needed to change the return within 24 hours which I did on the phone and without me even asking the agent volunteered not to charge me the cancellation fee as “it was within BA’s cooling off period”. Sounds like I was lucky.

    If you are within the 24 hr notice time, they don’t charge it. As there are so many error notices now on line, they are very understanding. Seems like they are much like ba but it’s not advertised. Weird.

  Aldi offer on my wife’s Amex offers and my companion card.
  O.T. My wife has just upgraded her BA Amex card to BA Amex Premium Plus (now only £500 off a 241 voucher), And on her 1st spend she has received a 6000 bonus Avios. She upgraded over the phone and there was no mention of this mystery bonus. Not going to complain though.
