We try to keep Tesco Direct deals on our sister site Shopper Points these days, but this offer is so good that we thought it was worth a bigger audience over here.

Tesco Direct has dropped the price of Now TV boxes to £12.50 and is still offering 500 extra Clubcard points per box. These are worth 1,200 Avios or 1,250 Virgin Flying Club miles, or £15 of Uber credit.

If you’re familiar with Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick, Now TV works in the same way. It connects wirelessly to your broadband signal and allows you to stream content to your TV.

As well as accessing BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 there are also lots of other channels available, many of which would otherwise require you to pay for a full satellite or cable subscription.

Until 27th November – but they are unlikely to last longer than tonight at this lower price – you will get 500 extra Clubcard points when buying a Now TV box. There are three different passes to choose from:

When we first wrote about this offer the price for a NOW TV box was £20. This was already quite a good offer considering the possible 1,200 Avios / 1,250 Virgin Flying Club miles / £15 Uber credit etc value from 500 extra Clubcard points.

Now the price has dropped to £12.50 – you’re technically getting a free NOW TV box and (via Uber or Hotels.com credit) an extra £2.50 on top.

I’m pretty sure the NOW TV boxes will be snatched soon (ie by tonight) so if you’re in for a streamer, now would be a good time to buy. There may even be an opportunity to sell the boxes on eBay and keep the points.

Many new TV’s have now TV as an app which works better than an now TV box.

After many years of being a Sky TV customer, I cancelled it. Now got BT TV with BT Sport HD and Eurosport HD for £16.50 a month and I’ve had sky sports on now TV for £20 a month for the last 4 months.

Saved a fortune compared to the prices Sky TV charge.

    You have to enter the pass/voucher via their website, then you can use it on up to four nowtv apps / boxes on which your a logged in to (only two concurrently I think).

  there are too many jokers/ cheats on Ebay – they buy the NowTV boxes, strip the pass from it then ask for a refund, claiming the code doesn’t work – you need to factor in the cost of that happening & the possible negative feedback

Slightly OT again but might be useful to some…I did a transfer of clubcard points to a Virgin Flying Club account with different email address and different postal address (just the same name) and it went through successfully. 20% bonus received too 🙂
