    What I did get when logging in today was a whole new account page (at least I have not seen it before) on destop view. It’s a mess, requires way too much scrolling and has moving parts.

  Aren’t the Aer Lingus business class seats on the 757 very dated (as in early 90s vintage), or was that just the planes they leased in from Titan etc. previously

    There are only 12 seats, lie flat. Not sure of the configuration.

    Anika is off to Boston in a fortnight so we’ll get a property review of the Airbus fleet.

  The Hong kong lounge is not the first international lounge for amex. Unless Argentina, Australia, India and Mexico have bene annexed.

    I dont think they are branded as centurion lounge.
    I visited DEL lounge this summer and I can say a room for max 12 people, is not something a centurion lounge would like to boast!

    However their dine on demand was really good.

  That looks like the old Virgin HKG lounge which closed, right down to keeping some of the decor and furnishings !

  For once I got one of the Amex deals! I spotted the 500 point offer yesterday, and duly bought £10 of sweets which I was going to do anyway for an upcoming event. Lovely.

  Tesco offer not on my cards either. I do however have a second £5 off £50 Esso offer loaded. It’s identical to the first so I’m hoping it’ll stack (the Caffè Nero ones did a few months back). The offers appeared about 5 days apart if anyone else wants to check their cards.

  OT: One for Anika on SP and others collecting nectar points. I just receivec an email explaining that these can now be exchanged for a wide range of giftcards so they have becone more flexible than in the past. I have no idea what value you get from such redemotions yet but less might mean more if used in cobjunction with Debenhams sale for exampke.

    It’s the usual 0.5p value per £, so nothing different to using it in Sainsbury’s when no offers are on.
