Which British Airways European routes do not offer lounge access?

    The Marco Polo lounge is quite smart, but the food and drink are ordinary. You should be alright in Feb (unless it is raining) but it is a v. long walk from the terminal to where you catch buses and taxis.
    Are you going to Carnevale? I took my wife for her 50th; very atmospheric with the fog.
    I can strongly recommend Hilton Stucky Molino.

  Heraklion has a couple of lounges. We recently used the landslide one as we were too early to check in. It was perfectly nice. The airside lounge looked like it would have a very good view of the runway.

  Heraklion is not one of Europe’s lovelier airports so you’ll want to use a lounge.

  The lounge at Gibraltar doesn’t have much in the way of F & B, however it does have a lovely balcony area where you can sit and look out over the rock and the runway. Much nicer than wet tarmac at Manchester!

  Rotterdam has no Lounge but for at least Silver, Gold and CE you get a voucher for limited number of drinks and snacks after security

  Granada has no lounge (LCY seasonal route). Well the lounge is there but permanently closed.

  O/T (slightly ) My family and I had lounge access at Malaga in the summer . The lounge was located between security and passport control and every ten minutes or so in the lounge there were announcements reminding us to make our way to passport control ASAP because there might be delays. The situation took away a lot of feeling of lounge relaxation that we were hoping for . Security -Lounge – Passport seemed like an odd order for the airport to have.

    This is typical in Schengen area airports because the lounges usually serve both domestic and international passengers. Toulouse airport, for one, shows the number of minutes delay – or not – to go through passport control on a screen in the lounge and it is accurate,

      Thank you . My previous lounge experiences had all been UK and Ireland, so this would have been the first Schengen one.

  Having recently return from both Copenhagen and Vienna where there was no fast track and the lounges are so poor that there are much nicer bars and restaurants in and around the airport. Food offering was average at best and seat pitch no bigger. Makes you wonder what you are paying for with a short/medium club return. Having said that food to Budapest going out (being considered a longer route) was excellent, In future will consider club out economy back
