Kate Spade New York at Heathrow Terminal 5

Kate Spade New York has opened a shop at Heathrow Terminal 5.

The brand continues to grow internationally and Heathrow T5 is their first shop at a UK airport.

The pop-up shop will be open for the next 8 months.

New ski routes on BA from Manchester

British Airways has announced two new Winter-only routes out of Manchester. These will use the Embraer 190 aircraft which are usually based at London City Airport but sit unused over the weekend.

Every Saturday from December until April there will be flights to Salzburg (below) and Chambery.

In addition BA has announced that after a short break from October, the weekly service to London City Airport will resume in December. There will be with flights to Manchester on Fridays and down to London on Sundays.

All flights can be booked on the BA website. Avios seats are also now available – even if you based in London, it may be worth taking the train to Manchester if you can use points and avoid the astonishingly high fares on the Salzburg route on key weekends.

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (December 2021)

MAN-CMF comes in as one of those golden redemptions! At 647 miles is just 3 miles below the limit of zone 1: 8 000 Avios + £35 economy, 15 500 Avios + £50 business (off-peak return).

      take screenshots – that’s what I used when I claimed my multiple 1000 Avios compos (about 30x) & that’s presumably why they reversed their position & paid up immediately

Hi,

I am trying to go to the Maldives early in the new year. I was wondering if anyone can reccomend any hotels, preferably with a water villa but with out being too expensive. (maybe up to £300-£400 a night max)
Or alternatively I have around 100k MR points that I could utilize if anyone knows of a good way to stay for 2-3 nights.

  95k MRs would get you 2 nights at Conrad Rangali. You would have to fork out for the seaplane though, so 2 nights might not be viable. 190k MRs would get you 5 nights.

Off Topic:

Ive got 2 JAL reward flights booked on the same ticket (with avios via BA call center), 1st flight is business, 2nd is economy.

Will I get the 3 x 32KG business class luggage allowance for the whole ticket? Or will I have a problem as the economy flight is the longer one? (Shanghai – Tokyo is business, Tokyo-Sydney is economy)

Hopefully more availability will come up so I can upgrade the second flight but if I cant Im worried….

OT, As a FYI, I had a case against Easyjet for my 5 hour delay and they had used their lawyers to defend it with 18 pages of “evidence”, but CEDR sided with me and awarded me the compensation. Always worth pursuing the case.

  I have two EC261 cases ongoing – one through AADR against Flybe and the other through CAA PACT against Lufthansa.
  Flybe have overrun their deadline by 3 weeks and so far AADR appears to have done nothing (despite 2 prompts from me to proceed to ajudication).
  My Lufthansa claim was submitted around 2-9 June. PACT came back to me on 5 July saying that they were still waiting for Lufthansa reply. Nothing since.
  (I had called CAA PACT and outlined both claims and CAA response prompted my action – I declined SOEP given adverse feedback on this site).
