News in brief:
Charles Tyrwhitt discount codes launched – and earn Avios
Avios has recently partnered with shirt maker Charles Tyrwhitt to offer Avios points whenever you shop with them. This includes purchases in any of their stores, where the staff will take your avios.com or British Airways Executive Club number and ensure that 4 Avios per £1 are added to your account.
Tyrwhitt is currently running its end-of-season. From today until 6th July, you can get additional savings on online orders via their site with these codes:
CTJULY5 – £5 off £50
CTJULY10 – £10 off £90
CTJULY15 – £15 off £125
The discount works on sale and non-sale products and you will also earn 4 Avios per £1. Details of the Avios partnership are on the Tyrwhitt website here. The shirts included in the sale can be found here.
You will also be entered into a competition to win 1 prize of 250,000 Avios and £2,500 of Charles Tyrwhitt vouchers, or 75 runners-up prizes of 10,000 Avios plus £100 of vouchers. Anyone earning Avios points via Tyrwhitt before 16th July will be automatically entered, although remember that the sale ends on the 6th.
Heading to Spain? Try Iberia’s multi-partner Avios bonus
Iberia Plus has brought back its annual Summer multi-partner Avios bonus.
Once registered, you will receive a bonus based on the number of partners you visit before the end of August.
If you are in Spain, you might be able to get something out of this. Repsol and Cepsa are petrol stations so easily doable, Budget is running a bonus offer up to 1,000 Avios anyway if you need a car, Cabify (an Uber clone) is offering 400 bonus Avios for first time user as well as being part of this offer, ElTenedor (otherwise known as TheFork, a restaurant app) offers 250 Avios per booking etc. IberiaPluStore is the Iberia online shopping portal – you may be able to find an online merchant you can use despite being in the UK.
You’ll need to spend a bit of time looking up the collection rules for each partner, but you can earn up to 10,000 bonus Avios on top of the normal earnings from these partners.
Visit the McLaren-Honda factory with Hilton Honors
Hilton Honors has arranged another tour of the McLaren-Honda factory at the Norman Foster-designed McLaren Technology Centre in Woking.
Last time I wrote about this offer, HfP readers bought the seven available packages by 9am. If you are interested in this – there are four packages still available as at 10pm Sunday – do not hang around.
The date is the afternoon of Monday 4th September. The cost is 75,000 Hilton HHonors points for two people.
The factory is not normally open to the public so this is a rare opportunity to take a look inside. Your children should also still be on holiday on this date, unlike the last McLaren tour they arranged.
You can redeem your points for a pair of tickets here.
How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards (December 2021)

The Virgin Atlantic cards are the only Visa or Mastercard products in the UK which can indirectly earn Hilton Honors points. You can apply here.
You can also earn Hilton Honors points indirectly with American Express Gold (20,000 bonus points), the American Express Rewards Credit Card (5,000 bonus points) and – for small business owners – American Express Business Gold (20,000 bonus points) and Business Platinum (40,000 bonus points).
