This weekend – you need to book by Monday night – British Airways is running special deals on ‘luxury European beach holidays’. 

Full details are here.  These are package offers consisting of Club Europe flights and a stay in a four or five star hotel.

Given the usual cost of Club Europe flights, pricing looks good.

BA Holidays

Based on travel in September, headline prices include:

Algarve – 7 nights from £388 per person

Malaga – 7 nights from £423 per person

Sardinia – 7 nights from £439 per person

Bari – 7 nights from £439 per person

Nice – 7 nights from £473 per person

Ibiza – 7 nights from £477 per person

There are also ‘last minute’ packages available for travel in June as well as a selection of ‘all inclusive’ packages for September.

Remember that, as this is a BA Holidays booking, you don’t need to pay the full balance now.  You can simply pay a deposit and settle the balance nearer departure.  Flights booked via BA Holidays will earn the usual Avios and tier points, although they do not earn credit in the On Business small business scheme.

      I did yes… had £500 outstanding and paid with the card. The £100 credit appeared the next day.

      I paid a £300 BA holiday deposit for my Son which, added to an earlier £300 ticket purchase for myself, triggered the credit!

        Yes, paid £500 deposit on new booking. Email confirming redemption came through straight away, credit took about a week.

            I’ve just paid for some connecting flights to get us to doh for the 241 flight back to LHR, I booked on Thursday, and the 4 flights(£165) took me to £5 over the £500 total needed and I received the redemption email within a minute. Annoyingly I had to book first 😉 as 4 economy seats took me to £479 total!!!

      Funny you should mention that, I booked a holiday via BA holidays back in march and paid the minimum deposit. 2 months later we got the spend £500 get £100 back. We got £200 back using my BAPP card and the the mrs supp card on the same booking. I used the mrs one 2 weeks ago and used mine yesterday. Both confirmation emails arrived immediately.
      I’ve still got another £500 deposit to pay off which I’ve left intentionally should another similar offer arrive before we travel.

      I redeemed the offer on 9th, got the email straight away confirming it from amex. Not had the statement credit yet though, but looks like it arrives within a week for most people.

    OT: If you are flying BA as part of a package through a third party (Secret Escapes type of thing) presumably you have no issue with avios , TPs and use of lounge? Never used BA as part of a package and just want to be sure – I know that there can be issues around upgrading travel agent tickets etc. but that’s not an issue here.
