Earn Virgin Atlantic miles with EVERY Sainsbury’s online grocery shop

Most of the supermarket chains, plus Ocado, offer incentives to encourage you to make your first online grocery order.  What is very rare is to offer you an incentive for FUTURE online orders.

Sainsbury’s is the only supermarket chain to pay incentives to everyone on their online grocery order, week in and week out.

The snag is that most reward sites are blocked by Sainsbury’s from offering this to their members.  The only one that has slipped through the net is the Virgin Atlantic online shopping portal.

You will earn 80 Virgin Flying Club miles for every Sainsbury’s online grocery order which starts with a click-through from this page of the Virgin Atlantic online shopping site.

There does not appear to be any minimum spend.

80 Virgin Flying Club miles is not a massive return, of course.  On the other hand, it isn’t much bother to bookmark that page of the Virgin Atlantic site and start your weekly online shop by clicking through from there.

If you don’t already collect Flying Club miles then I wouldn’t open an account just to take advantage of this.  Without a short haul network, Virgin doesn’t have much in the way of low value rewards.  If you do have an account, however, this is an easy way to keep topping it up.

Yay, that was me who mentioned this in the comments; my first ever uselessness on HfP 🙂

    • Wally1976 says:

Oops that was meant to say “usefulness”. Got too excited there!

Haha good work (and entertaining typo in your initial comment 😀 )

  • Alid says:

    Useful tip- thanks.

Always been annoyed not to be able to get something back from regular online groceries shopping.

    • Mark LLL says:

I know what you mean, nectar points are not really something.

      • Peter K says:

Too right. 0.5p per £ rebate you can only cash out in £2.50 chunks basically is nothing.
