This is our review of the Rendezvous Executive Lounge at Ronaldsway Airport on the Isle of Man.

A few weeks ago we asked for your help in completing our collection of UK airport lounge reviews, which you can find on the ‘Favourites’ page here. HfP generally does not accept third-party reviews. There is zero chance of Rob or myself making it to most of the missing UK lounges, however, so we were happy to take some help here.

Reader Bill kindly sent in some photographs and a brief review of the Rendezvous Executive Lounge at Ronaldsway Airport – Isle of Man:

The lounge entrance is located in the departure area just after the security screening area.

The lounge is open  Monday – Friday 05:45 – 19:00, Saturday 05:45 – 13:30 Sunday 12:00 – 20:00 which reflects the majority of flights. That said, the weekday closing is a little too early for the evening easyJet service to Gatwick and on Sunday mornings there are a handful of flights prior to noon. Passengers on those flights are left with the airport bar, newsagent and Costa.

Even at peak times you should be able to get at least one or two seats and sometimes you might be the only one in the lounge.

There are complimentary wines, spirits, and beers as well as excellent freshly ground coffee and a choice of teas.

The lounge offers a variety light snacks, which include a continental breakfast with toast and cereals between 05.45 – 11.00  am. Crackers, cheese and croissants are available all day. There are also 5 jars of cookies to choose from.

Wireless internet is available in the lounge for customers and you can also connect to the public departure lounge wifi.

There are a couple of TV screens with either BBC News or Sky News and flight information screens.

The lounge is independently run by Rendezvous Group.  Lounge Pass (Amex Gold cardholders get two free Lounge Club passes per year) and Priority Pass (free with Amex Platinum) are accepted.”

Thanks Bill.  If you want to pre-book access to the Rendezvous Lounge, you can book it via the Lounge Pass website here.
