Since I have had numerous emails asking about this recently, I thought this was worth an extra article.

Virgin Atlantic has launched its semi-regular Reward Seat Sale.
Economy and Premium Economy routes are reduced by 30%.
New York, for example, is just 24500 miles return instead of 35000.
No discount on taxes or Upper Class, however.
You can book as far in advance as you want.
At the time of writing there is no branding on the website but the fares are already reduced. Pop over to the Virgin website and take a look.
Remember that transfers of American Express Membership Rewards points to Virgin are INSTANTANEOUS as long as the accounts are already linked. You will also get a 20% bonus on Tesco Clubcard conversions at the moment as I explained here.
How to earn Virgin Points from UK credit cards (December 2021)
