News in brief:
Tesco capping Clubcard accounts at 30,000 points again
I have written before about the occasional practice at Tesco of capping Clubcard accounts at 30,000 points per quarter – which is actually in the rules.
This quarter they appear to have been especially keen, stripping people of points even when they only exceeded 30,000 points due to receiving ‘change’ on voucher redemptions.
You can read the story in full – and see the letter Tesco is sending out – over at Shopper Points today. The message, though, is that you need to be careful to restrict your earnings per person when a super-generous promotion like the pre-Christmas printer deal comes along.
Tesco wine deals ending
On another Tesco note, today is the last day to take advantage of two wine offers – 1,200 Avios (500 Clubcard points) for spending £100 at Tesco Wine and 1,800 Avios (750 Clubcard points) for spending £150.
The Tesco wine sale is still running so you could double up with cash savings and bonus points.
The codes you need are:
- XXLKMJ for 750 Clubcard points when spending £150+
- XXJJRJ for 500 Clubcard points when spending £100+
The Tesco Wine sale page is here. Delivery will be free as you are spending over £50.
