Over at our sister site Shopper Points yesterday, I covered a promotion worth 500 bonus Clubcard points (worth 1,200 Avios) for spending £100 at Tesco Wine.
I thought it was worth a mention over here as well.
Currently there are two offers at Tesco Wine which can be combined: the Wine Cellar Sale and 500 extra Clubcard points on orders over £100 before 24th January.
Looking at the Wine Cellar Sale, you can save up to 50% on a wide range of wine and champagne with prices starting as low as £5 per bottle (based on a case of 6). It is never clear if wine discounts in any shop are ‘genuine’ but it is easy to believe that Tesco did over-order on some good stuff before Christmas it never sold.
When you spend over £100 and use the code XXKNNK at checkout, you can also get an extra 500 Clubcard points. This offer expires 24th January or after 1000 redemptions have been made, whichever comes first. You don’t have to specifically buy the sales wines in order to get the extra points, but obviously the deal works out better if you do.
If you spend over £50 you’ll also get free Next Day Delivery.
The Clubcard points deal is not as generous as some of the offers we saw last year. However, those deals did not always coincide with a sale – this time you can get the points and a good cash discount.
The following Clubcard deals are also still running and offer bonus Clubcard points – click to visit the relevant Shopper Points article:
Ends 27th April – 100 Clubcard points when you make a MoneyGram transfer in-store
Ends 1st March – 4,000 Clubcard points for taking out Tesco Pet Insurance
Ends 29th February – 100 free Clubcard points from Tesco Bank
Ends 31st January – double Clubcard points on Esso Supreme fuels
Ends 24th January – 100 Clubcard points with Roku media streamer
Ends 24th January – 250 Clubcard points on Google Chromecast
