Tesco has recently introduced MoneyGram money transfer counters into many of its larger stores. This allows you to send or receive money via almost every country in the world.

MoneyGram is unlikely to be as cheap as using a specialist currency broker such as Azimo (who are currently offering a £15 Amazon voucher for first time users) or TransferWise.

However, for small transfers, the convenience of being able to access a MoneyGram counter in your local store seven days a week may well outweigh any extra cost.

To encourage you to give them a try, MoneyGram is offering 100 Clubcard points – worth 240 Avios points or 250 Virgin Flying Club miles – when you send £50 or more. The £50 target spend includes the fee.

The offer runs until 27th April and you can take advantage of it as many times as you like.
