Hi Rob, Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thanks for all of the help and advice over the last year, it’s been truly eye opening.
I found the site in June when looking for a new credit card and its opened up a whole new world of miles and points, ex-eu and mileage/TP runs. 3 weeks to my first ex-eu with a TP run booked to HNL in June and by September I’ll be BAEC Gold!
Thanks for everything, I’m looking forward to 2016. Adrian

Christmas sentiments to you all and grateful thanks to Rob and HFP. Sitting here north of Inverness looking out on the snow covered Ben reminiscing on our trips to Italy , South Africa, Mauritius, Barcelona and looking forward to F redemptions to Rio in Feb and NY in August. 1×241 in the bag and delaying the next for a few months. Fancy Costa Rica in Dec. It’s been great, and all down to you all. Many thanks and wishing you all a happy festive season

    Merry Christmas Rob and readers,
Travelled to exotic Staffordshire but alas no upgrades available due to limited space in the car. Corley M6 lounge had fine toilet facilities but no time for sampling the food as Mrs Flyer called for a quick departure. In car food was a pleasant mix of Mars celebrations and irn Bru.
Managed Hilton Diamond this year from this site and 6000 avios from the recent Heathrow Rewards promo. Also possibly the only person here to have drunk Russian “Champagne” with my Christmas lunch courtesy of my travels this year?

    Happy Christmas Rob and HFPers!

Am spending Christmas in Ko Samui. Flew with Royal Jordanian which was £1200pp in J.
Only downside was a 9 hour stopover in Amman, but Qatar had 22 hour stopover when I did a comparison. The RJ lounge had plenty of space so just had a snooze for a few hours.

Paris to Amman was an old 319, but the Bangkok was a 787. Have to say service on both legs was comparable to Qatar and Etihad, very attentive staff, they even wheeled out a trolley on the 319 and served dinner from it (I’ve heard of this before but am too young to have see it ;)). As usual Bangkok Airways will move you to the earliest flight when you arrive in BKK, but as they own USM airport the flights are overpriced. I paid £200pp back in March, but only paid £160pp this time, found that by waiting closer to the date the prices dropped. Looking forward to my BA avios and tier points for flying RJ!

Thanks to all for the useful info this year, I managed to get one of the 5k CC printers!

    David 🙂
