Happy Christmas Rob. Thanks for all your help once again over the last year.

Christmas Greetings from the Caribbean island of Bequia! No Christmas redemptions available on Virgin or BA when we booked flight to Barbados in August. No Upper Class or Club World availability either so plumped for Premium Economy on VS. On arrival at Gatwick, used Twilight Checkin and managed to upgrade all four of us to Upper Class for VS29 on 21st December at a cost of 12,500 miles each. An excellent start to Christmas.

Started 2015 with a Black Friday £999 Club World return to Tokyo (and got upgraded to First Suite) on the outbound. That was also the tipping point into BA Silver.

In March made good use of BA2for1 with a return Club redemption when travelling to Chengdu to stay with friends.

November QR to Bangkok in Business on the A380 (just TP short of renewing silver). Chatting to a lady in the bar who turned out to be a close friend of a friend. We took a selfie and sent it to our mutual friend from 38,000 ft and he could not believe the two of us had met in the sky, introduced ourselves and found we had this friend in common. Small world! QR still has best overall business class product in my opinion.

A Very Happy Christmas to Mr and Mrs Burgess and the little Burgesses and thanks for running such a great and informative website.

A Merry Christmas to you, Rob, and your family!

My 2015 highlight was spending a couple of hours in the PIER in HKG airport.

    What a lounge!

Thanks Rob for the best miles/points/travel-related website out there, which is very well-written, informative and exchanging of tips, advice etc.

    Hi Rob,

Merry Christmas to you and your readers. I’m currently in Dubai at the Hilton JBR Dubai Walk and have just polished off a free afternoon tea courtesy of my recently acquired hilton gold status (thanks to the status match highlighted on HFP). The holiday was part paid for with Tesco Clubcard vouchers exchanged at 3 x value at Bridge The World (Tesco points collection was excelarated by HFP). Great website and hoping for more point collecting in 2016!

    Thanks for all the advice.

    Merry Christmas
