  Merry Christmas wishes from InterContinental Monterey, sitting watching the waves crashing from our lovely upgraded room (Ambassador upgrade even though booked on points) at probably the best IC of them all. Used a 5th 241 to fly to San Francisco in J and looking forward to pootling around California for the next 2 weeks. Thanks Rob for another great year on HFP, and happy travels to all in 2016!

          Odd way to do a promotion, though – over almost before it has begun.

          I’d have given it (say) 3 days minimum, with the hope that word would spread amongst loyal users.

          Got the email yesterday at 9am, can’t complain though as have just booked 8 ow flights, over May half term and summer school holidays, for £81.20 from east mids.

  Hello from Victoria Falls!

  Have just spent 3 weeks travelling around South Africa having arrived on a very good J class ex-AMS deal.

  Visited pretty much every SLOW lounge (and what great lounges they are). And it’s my honeymoon…life is sweet!

  Currently in Quezon City in the Philippines which to get a low cost flight at the last minute i had to do MAN>MXP>DOH>KUL>MNL – on the way back it’s just MNL>DOH>MAN – £560 all in which is not bad for a last minute booking. Earning miles with QR and also with a promo i get to keep my gold status for another year 🙂 (3X q points)
