New Avios partner: Abercrombie & Kent

Upmarket travel agent Abercrombie & Kent has signed up as the latest Avios earning partner.

For any booking made via the company after 7th September, you will receive 2 Avios for every £1 you spend. Given that A&K holidays are not cheap, this could add up to a decent slug of points.

Points will be given on all holiday and villa bookings. Note that the definition of ‘qualifying spend’ for the purposes of calculation your Avios excludes “Air taxes, surcharges, breakage deposits, insurance and credit card charges”.

Interestingly, Abercrombie & Kent is working with all three Avios schemes. You can choose to have your points sent to either a British Airways Executive Club, avios.com or Iberia Plus account.

Points are awarded within 30 days of the departure date for your holiday.

Avios points cannot be earned on bookings made at the A&K concession in Harrods (downstairs, next to the Pharmacy!) but you would earn Harrods Rewards points instead. The Abu Dhabi and Monaco offices are also excluded.
