News in brief:

Tesco 3,000 Avios grocery code extended

I wrote a week ago about a new bonus code for Tesco grocery deliveries.  If you are a new customer to online grocery, or have not ordered for a year or so, code XXFHML will get you 1,250 bonus Clubcard points for a £60 spend.  That will earn you 3,000 Avios points or 3,125 Virgin Flying Club miles.

This code was meant to expire on March 23rd.  It has now been extended, however, and will remain valid for deliveries until Sunday March 29th.  This assumes, of course, that you can still book a delivery slot for today, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Full details of how this deal works are in my original article.

Expedia Nectar

100 free Nectar points from Expedia

Meanwhile, Expedia is offering 100 Nectar points if you link your Nectar card to your Expedia profile.

You have been able to collect Nectar points via Expedia for a number of years.  The process required you to re-enter your Nectar number with each booking.  Going forward, you won’t need to worry about this – it will be applied automatically as long as you are logged in to Expedia when you book.

To encourage people to add their Nectar numbers to their Expedia profile, they are offering you 100 Nectar points.

You need to go this page on the Expedia website and log in to your Expedia account, adding your Nectar number on the way.  If you do not already have an Expedia account, you can open one from scratch via the main Expedia home page by clicking ‘Account’ and ‘Create An Account’.

You have until April 23rd to link your accounts.  Points will be added by May 15th.

This page on our sister site Shopper Points shows the best value Nectar redemptions – ie everything which gets you more than the standard 0.5p per point.

XX4KLN may work if you’ve used your account, more recently, for an extra 500 pts for a £60 spend
    🙂

Are you sure you get the 100 Nectars just for logging in? It says “your points will be awarded 30 days after you return from your trip!”

XXFHML shows as “Sorry, this eCoupon cannot be accepted as it has already been used the maximum number of times.” only me?

OT but does anyone know how to get cc points with amazon spend while 3v aren’t available?

    Thanks.

Code worked for me. I registered my husband, used the same payment card(amex gold) and it even recognised what I bought frequently! I pushed my luck and tried the £12 off code Tesco is offering just now but no go on that one!

    • Liz says:

I did that yesterday too but it wouldn’t accept the £12 off either! I registered my husband with a separate clubcard too! Now used up all my first grocery shops although others seem to try again later on and get it to work.

  • Justin Fraser says:

Code worked for us too! My wife used it last week for our shop – I just made a click and collect for over £60 on my own tesco account using the same payment card and have been awarded 1250 points! yeah!!!! 6250 virgin miles + the shopping points – I love flying Tescos 🙂

Banked the code on friday and it has vanished today.
