British Airways has launched a very limited ‘flash sale’ for travel in World Traveller (economy).

Full details can be found at ba.com here.

The headline prices released by BA look acceptable but not groundbreaking:

A380 1

Travel dates vary by destination – see the small print on the sale page – but generally run through to October or December.  The easiest way to check the best prices for a particular route is with the Low Fare Finder tool at ba.com.  Holiday and ‘flight and car’ packages are also reduced.

You must book by midnight on Tuesday to secure these prices.

  • Andrew (@andrewseftel) says:

KUL at £399 looks fairly exceptional

  • Raffles says:

I agree, loads probably light as it is a new route. Little point paying the extra for Singapore on that basis.

    • Tom says:

Can route via HKG/SIN to KUL so something like
      LHR-HKG (stopover) HKG-KUL-LHR
can price up at the LHR-KUL rates.

  • Londonbus says:

For WTP, KUL is actually £100 cheaper at £908 than BKK which is pricing in at just over a £1k.

Exceptional value in my view. Factor in an Air Asia cheapie and the same price – only more Avios and TPs…

  • RIccati says:

I want to note how empty and spacious KUL Malaysian/Oneworld lounge(s) are, compared to BKK’s Thai lounges. Both kind are worn off but I might appreciate KUL and personal noodles prepared for you better.

Plus it’s expensive to get out of BKK to popular non-Thailand destinations.

    • Londonbus says:

MH has a severe reptuation problem which means that it prices aggressively. You also have the Air Asia (X) network – and now Air Asia has moved out to KLIA 2, inter-terminal transfers are much easier.
