easyJet Plus – get £22-£37 off via Amex and now bring TWO bags into the cabin

  All the above benefits are available to anyone who pays for an extra legroom or ‘upfront’ seat (except the free seat selection obviously). It is actually the nearest thing easyJet has to a business class. An extra legroom seat certainly gets priority check-in and fast track security at Manchester.

  Just a note that those not who have not paid for upfront or extra legroom seats may, not “will”, have their bags over 55x40x20 cm put in the hold at the gate on busy flights, without charge.

  You need to take around ten easyJet flights a year to make the Plus membership cost effective.

  U2 assign seats to everyone at check-in, so the benefit of speedy boarding is primarily the overhead space.

  I’ve also got a 25% deal via Amex offers. Anyone know if its possible to combine both the 25% offer and the 15% code? Probably not, but if any one does – shout out how.

  Other thing to keep in mind with EasyJet is that in order to guarantee that a larger bag goes in the overhead bins you have to make sure that you are one of the first on the plane. EasyJet+ or Speedy boarding gives you a head start – but be a little bit tardy getting to the plane and if there is no room in the bins or it won’t fit under your seat your bag will go into the hold. To be fair to EasyJet this is also pretty much what happens now on BA flights that are sold with a discount for hand luggage only passengers.

  Apart from the right to go on first EasyJet+ doesn’t give any priority. Are the cabin crew really going to referee the ruckus that would ensue if the bags of non EasyJet+ passengers were taken out of already full lockers and sent to the hold to be replaced by the carry-on of someone else?

    If you do have to check bags (which you will have paid for), there’s normally a separate check in q for easyjet plus too….

  Does anyone know how to get hold of a 25% code? All I’ve found online is the 15% version Raffles mentioned. Or if someone has the code and doesn’t intend to redeem it i would be very grateful!!

  Used the 25% off code last night no problem to join up prior to booking a flight – didn’t have either 15% or 25% offers in my Amex My Offers but it still worked (I did use Amex to pay but would have anyway).
  NB. On booking my flight I was offered another code – “EZYBB15” for 20% off Easyjet Plus membership – valid to 9 March, in case of use to anyone who misses the 28Feb deadline.
