Amex special: No 1 Traveller lounge access + glass of champagne = £20

American Express has teamed up with No 1 Traveller to offer a special discount code on airport lounge access.  The deal is valid at Heathrow Terminal 3, Gatwick North, Gatwick South, Edinburgh and Birmingham.

No 1 Traveller lounges are very well regarded.  I reviewed the Gatwick North lounge last year which is so much better than the British Airways lounge one floor up that it is almost laughable.

I also ran a review of their Edinburgh lounge last year which was written by a HfP reader – you can see from the photographs in that article that it is impressive.

American Express is offering a £20 package which gets you lounge access plus a glass of champagne.  You book via the No 1 Traveller website and use promotional code AMEX20 at check-out.

You need to pay with an American Express card in theory.  In practice, the other payment boxes are still showing so I doubt it makes much difference.

This offer runs until March 31st – you must book AND complete your visit by this date.

PS.  Remember that No 1 Traveller lounges are included in Priority Pass, so if you have one of those via Amex Platinum or similar then you can enter for free with that, subject to capacity

HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard gets you get a free LoungeKey card, allowing you access to the LoungeKey network.  Guests are charged at £20 although it may be cheaper to pay £60 for a supplementary credit card for your partner.
