Happy Christmas to you and your family. I hope you enjoy a well deserved break, wherever in the world you are.

(Do please post below if your travels have taken you anywhere exciting this Christmas.)

Head for Points is taking a two day break. We will be back on Saturday 27th.

If you really want something to read in the meantime, take a look under the ‘Favourite Articles‘ tab where you will find my pick of the most relevant pieces published in 2014.

Whilst some of the articles are due for an update, you will also find our 16-part ‘Avios Redemption University‘ series interesting.

Thank you for your support over the past year.  I have two competitions lined up for January which will absolutely blow your mind, thanks to two very generous sponsors, so keep an eye on the site.

Merry Christmas from NZ. Not an easy family redemption in the Christmas holidays: 8 flights on 5 airlines requiring BA, AA and SQ miles. Thanks Rob.

Seasons greeting Rob to you and your family and all the HFP folks. Thanks for all the guidance, Christmas at home for us, but only a couple of months until we travel down under.

    Happy Christmas from Kuala Lumpur!

Flew here in biz, using points. Fly back from HKG with Cathay in First, using points!

Just flew back with CX in first. Lovely service and attentive cabin crew. I have never seen someone appear so quick as hitting the service button on Cathay.

Snack wise, the pork ramen out of HKG was ‘effin delicious.

Btw, yesterday I snagged KUL-GLA return PE UuA into CW for £976 + 35k avios for next September. EDI was £62 more expensive with longer layovers. Will miss MH a380 but cannot have everything.

Merry Christmas to Rob and all HfP contributors

PS…if anybody at BA CS is reading this, I’m still waiting for the ptize I won in last years Christmas competition!

    Merry Christmas Rob!

Flew in to SFO yesterday (club world booked during BA’s flash sale, saved me a bundle of Avios thanks to this site!). Good flight, they had a pretty nice seasonal menu on. Waited ages for my bags (so much for ‘priority’), but not a big deal. Happy new year all!
