Just in time for Christmas, Tesco is offering 1,000 bonus Clubcard points on £99 LeapPad Ultra XDi tablet computers for children.

(My 3-year old has managed to master a proper adult iPad so why you need specific kids tablets is a mystery to me!)

Tesco is also offering a discount of £10 when you spend £100 on toys before 23rd November and use code TDX-GWNT at check-out. It is therefore worth throwing in an extra item to get above £100. The LeapPad tablets are £90 or £95 depending on colour.

What is interesting is that these tablets are also included in the current Tesco Boost promotion. You could therefore redeem Clubcard vouchers for double their face value for part or all of the cost and then receive 1,000 bonus points back. The net cost of the £90 pink tablet would only be 3,410 Clubcard points ie £34 of vouchers assuming you used 4,500 points to pay in full and then received 1,090 back.
