I am pleased to announce our latest competition. Last week, the final airlines moved into the new Terminal 2 at London Heathrow. To celebrate the completion of this massive project, Head for Points has teamed up with the luxury Plaza Premium lounge in Terminal 2.
We have £560 of prizes to be won. We have SEVEN packages to give away, each comprising of entry to the Plaza Premium lounge (worth £35) PLUS a 30-minute ila signature massage (worth £45) in their impressive spa.
The prize will be valid from 1 December until 30 May 2015. If you think you will be using Terminal 2 at any point during that period, you should enter.
Plaza Premium Lounge is also opening an arrivals lounge in Terminal 2 in December and will open an airside lounge in Heathrow Terminal 4 in early 2015. The prize can also be used in these two lounges when they open, so regular Terminal 4 users should also enter.
It is worth entering even if you have a Priority Pass, Airport Angel or Lounge Club card as our prize package includes a 30-minute massage.
Entering is easy – all you need to do is add a comment to this article (but read the rules first). This competition is open to readers in the UK.
About Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited
Heathrow Terminal 2 is the first European destination for Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited, an established operator of luxury airport lounges in Asia, India, the Middle East and Canada. You can see their website here.
As the company itself says:
Sleek, contemporary and accessible to all, the Plaza Premium Lounge offers travellers five luxury shower rooms, five private resting suites, a wellness spa area with an exclusive treatment menu by British organic spa brand ila, a tapas and champagne bar, and a selection of food and drinks.
I reviewed the lounge on Head for Points in September and was impressed by what I found.
You will find the lounge in the main Terminal 2 building, not the B satellite. The opening hours are 5am to 11pm.
You can get access via Priority Pass, Lounge Club, Airport Angel or a number of (mainly Asian) bank cards. Alternatively, you can pay with entrance starting at £35 for two hours lounge access including VAT. Entrance can be pre-booked via their website.
Even if you already have access via one of the methods above, it is still worth entering our competition – you will also receive a free 30-minute massage worth £45.
What can you win?
We are giving away SEVEN vouchers. Each entitles you to lounge entry in Terminal 2 departures, Terminal 2 arrivals (from December) or Terminal 4 departures (from early 2015) plus a 30-minute massage.
The vouchers are valid from 1 December to 30 May 2015. You need to prebook your visit and massage – see the full rules at the bottom of the article.
When you enter, you need to say if you would like one or two passes if you win. If you are travelling as a couple then you will probably want two.
A solo traveller may be happy with one but, of course, you can also ask for two. All I would say is that you have a slightly better chance of winning if you ask for one voucher. This is because, if the first 3 people picked all want two, I can only award the 7th prize to someone who wants one pass.
How do you win?
All you need to do is leave a comment on this post which includes the last three characters of your home UK post code AND whether you want one or two passes if you win. An example comment would be ‘4BA 2 passes’.
Entries are limited to one per household. The winners will need to provide a postal address which corresponds with the post code given in their entry.
You must be a UK resident to enter.
Make sure that you put a valid email address on the comment form – but not directly in the comment itself – so that we can contact you if you win.
The competition will run from 7am on Monday 3rd November and close at midnight UK time on Friday 7th November. The winners will be picked at random and contacted by email. If any winner does not respond to the email within 48 hours, I will select another winner.
Good luck.
