Maximise your Avios, air miles and hotel points

£5 off £25 iTunes gift cards at Tesco – plus 150 Clubcard points (360 Avios) for £50-worth

Tesco is running another promotion on iTunes gift cards for the next week or so, until October 5th.

You will save £5 on every £25 iTunes gift card purchased. There is NO discount on the lower value cards.

This combines very nicely with the ‘150 bonus Clubcard points for spending £50 on gift cards’ promotion.

For this promotion – and this is not always the case with Tesco – they base the bonus points on the post-discount price.

If you buy 2 x £25 iTunes gift cards you will need to throw in a random £10 gift card for Starbucks or anyone apart from Tesco itself to get your post-discount total spend to £50.  This will trigger the bonus which is worth 360 Avios points or 375 Virgin Flying Club miles.

This is also available at WHSmith where there is currently an Amex/FourSquare promotion for £10 back on a £30 spend. Get a £25 iTunes card and a £10 Starbucks card for £20!

    • Jason says:

Do Whsmith do Costa gift cards as well?

    • Lee says:

WHSmith is also doing £25 iTunes gift cards for £20, so combined with the spend £30 get £10 back from Amex is good deal if you can combine it with a £10 gift card for something else…

  • TimS says:

Is the title correct? Shouldn’t it read “plus 150 clubcard points for £50 worth”?

The body text looks fine though.

  • What's The Point says:

This offer is also on at Morrisons – for those collecting their fuel vouchers

  • SimonSchus says:

    Hi @Jason,

I looked in WHSmiths today. I saw Nero, Costa and Starbucks gift cards (didn’t get the denominations you could purchase in – they were hidden at the bottom around the corner of the gift card stand which was difficult to get at).

    Simon.

    • Jason says:

Thanks Simon, perfect as not a big fan of Starbucks.
Managed to load 2 offers on amex card, but deal wasn’t showing on wife’s BA amex 🙁

  • Steve B says:

Is this offer still running at Tesco?
