Decent Starwood Hotels ‘3-4-2’, ‘4-4-3’ and ‘6-4-2’ deals

Starwood – the Westin, W, Sheraton, St Regis, aloft etc hotel group – has teamed up with Mastercard to offer a free nights promotion. This is valid for selected hotels in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa and requires payment with a Mastercard.
This does offer genuine savings. I will be in Qatar for three nights in October. I had a Starwood Preferred Guest points redemption at the St Regis Doha on the beach, photo below.
This was acceptable value – although by no means exceptional – compared to paying cash. With this promotion, though, the value of my SPG points drops to under 1p per point – so I decided to rebook for cash on a ‘3 for 2’ rate.
The link for the promotion is here. Alternatively, you can use the main SPG booking page and insert code M3D in the Promo Code box.
Some hotels are not participating and not all of them offer all of the 3-4-2, 4-4-3 or 6-4-2 deals. Annoyingly, no closing date is given for either booking or staying.
If you are looking to get away for half-term – especially in the Middle East – it is worth a look.
Note that all rooms booked under this promotion must be prepaid and are not refundable.
