New British Airways Executive Club Bronze card design

When British Airways launched the Bronze tier a couple of years ago, this was the Executive Club card that members received:

Old BA Bronze card

However, on ba.com this image has now appeared:

BA Bronze card

It does look a bit more interesting than the previous design.  Bronze members also see a similar background wallpaper on ba.com.

There is no change to the Blue, Silver or Gold cards as far as I can tell – just Bronze.    Do post below if you have actually received one of these cards.

If you REALLY want the new design, remember that you can order replacement membership cards via ba.com.  Go to ‘Order Executive Club Items’ under ‘Manage My Account’.

Surely they will also be changing both the gold and silver also? I would guess they want the same across the board.

  • Phillip says:

    Less colour, lower cost?

  • Kim H says:

I’ve had this card since I lost Silver in April, so it’s been around for a little while. Although I’d happily swap it for a gold or silver I anyone thinks the new design is particularly desirous! 😉

  • Chico Dusty says:

Nice. Just hit Bronze on Tuesday so hopefully I receive the new design.

  • Jamie says:

    Slow news week, Raffles? 😉

    • Rob says:

I was at home for one day last week, give me a break :-). Dropping to 2 per day in August like last year, just need to get this New York series done!

Bet you this post outranks most this week including some which took ages to write!

I can never claim to be a branding expert, but it goes to show this DOES matter to people…

      • Jamie says:

Haha! I love the blog, I just couldn’t resist!

  • Gavin says:

I read something in the BA Press about the new cards and a BA Rep said ‘our members told us they wanted something distinct and stands out blah blah blah’

Personally i’d rather they stopped wasting money on a new card designs and did something more useful with the money like adding another benefit for bronze holders or ensuring existing benefits are actually realised (like consistently offering priority boarding)

  • jonboy says:

old bronze cards received by a friend at work last week so it mustn’t be fully implemented yet.

I received standard looking gold card this week too, so no change there by the looks of it.

  • Richard Green says:

Achieved bronze a couple of weeks ago and received my cards last week – old card design received, I’m afraid.
