  Spoke to Amex who called ‘marketing’ whilst I was on the call to them about the same question, ‘do 2 transactions at same merchant count?’ Resounding ‘no’ by a very animated call centre rep! Be warned!

    I’d like to see the opposite proved – but I’m inclined to believe what your telephone contact said, that’s how I read it.

    2 different outlets but PC World & Curry’s count as 1 each.

  Trying to cancel Virgin Wines membership was not easy, they did not seem to want to take “No” for an answer. In the end I called and said I was now teatotal- not much they could say to that 🙂

    Yes, they are quite high pressure. I just said (which was the truth) that I’ve started getting my wines from naked wines instead – no arguments.

  My £25 credit has appeared today.
  Items ordered on Friday and have not even been delivered yet.
  AMEX promotions are top of the tree for getting it right!

    Before anyone asks for clarification, it was one £25 transaction at two different retailers.

  Do we know if two (separate) £25+ purchases at the ‘same’ retailer are eligible for the statement credit? During a previous promotion, this was the case. Although the advise this time is different albeit yet to be proven…

  ..and do we know if it possible to use this offer more than once, e.g. with 2 or 3 cards, as terms state something like “…may use offer once only per cardmember…”.

    I assume it can be used once per card. The ‘once per cardmember’ clause just stops you buying from 4 retailers on the one card and expecting 2 credits.
