    Everyone is different – I love Virgin. Excellent customer service, don’t charge for call-outs, bill credit on the rare occasion there’s a service drop-out (I’m always online so always notice) and I now get 50mb broadband.

    I think it depends on what you like to watch or what services you use most as to which provider will be best for you.

      Have to disagree with that – I’ve found their customer service to be nothing short of horrible.

      Not to mention that when I cancelled my service, they “accidentally” added a default to my credit file that took over a year, several letters, innumerable phone calls, two legal threats and an email from my (media organisation) coroprate email address to the CEO’s office to get rid of, all while getting intimidating phone calls and letters from a debt collection agency and being rejected for any cards I tried to apply for.

  I wish I lived in a Virgin cabled street. I don’t generally bother having a TV licence, as the offerings aren’t worth the money. When I do fork out so I can watch the Olympics/World Cup/other major sporting event, the poor reception means I miss 20% of anything I try and view!

  I called Sky once to ‘cancel’ and was going to join Virgin instead, after a brief pause she told me that Virgin wasn’t available in my street and did I want to change my mind?! No retention offer on that occasion!

  even buying shopping at face value would get your almost the 2000 points, use a double cc points and its 4000 lol

  the 2000 package is even more silly when compared to the 1500 package at price vs gain, tho cba to list all tho basicly just 30 more channels (no doubt just filler that no one ever will watch)

  Am negotiating retention package with Virgin at the mo, will see if anyway to incorporate Clubcard Points. Some excellent Virgin offers around, so dubious this will offer best value.

  I think like all else, YMMV with broadband packages – but have found Virgin far superior for broadband speed, and cheaper than SKY, and like KLM & Ryanair (similar customer service!) refuse to give BT a penny of my money. Should also comment on the excellence of Netflix you can get with Virgin, certainly stopped us paying for anything more than the basic TV package.. (although, what to watch now Breaking Bad has finished…).
