I posted some photographs the other day from my visit to the No1 Lounge at Gatwick North. I was very impressed as I wrote in my review.

No1 Lounges also opened at Edinburgh a few weeks ago and this is our review. The lounge is on the site of the old British Airways lounge opposite Gate 10 – it is actually more convenient for BA flights than the new ‘official’ BA lounge.

As with Gatwick, your first item of ordered hot food is free but you need to pay for additional portions. Some drinks are free but champagne and premium spirits are charged.

You can access this lounge for free with a guest via a Priority Pass card, either buying one (the Amazon Local deal is still available) or getting one free with an American Express Platinum card. You can also access it via the two free Lounge Club passes that come with the American Express Preferred Rewards Gold card

HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard gets you get a free LoungeKey card, allowing you access to the LoungeKey network. Guests are charged at £20 although it may be cheaper to pay £60 for a supplementary credit card for your partner.
