More aggressive BA Club World ex-Euro savings – New York under £950 and much more

I wrote a few weeks ago about the current aggressive pricing that British Airways is offering from various European starting points. This saw fares as low as £1,100 for Club World return flights to New York if you started your trip in Italy.
BA has now launched a new ex-Euro sale with even more impressive pricing.
This webpage from the Italian version of ba.com shows some of the great prices available – and depending on route you may find them cheaper than this.
Here are the summary details:
Valid from pretty much everywhere in Europe
Selling period from 27 May 2014 to 11 June 2014
Travel period from 24 June 2014 to 12 April 2015 (some exceptions)
Seven night minimum stay required on some but not all tickets
No stopovers are allowed
In general, the best deals are to the Americas and Africa
I just ran some typical flights through the ITA Matrix software that I described in this article.
For an 8 night stay in New York starting August 3rd I could choose from (and these are Club World fares):
€1,167 from Budapest (£949)
€1,208 from Prague
€1,212 from Dublin
…. and plenty more.
There is a long thread on these deals over at Flyertalk. Other examples they have found include Dublin on American Airlines for €967 (albeit on an old AA plane without flat beds), €1574 to Cape Town from Italy, £1355 to Boston from Milan, £1500 to Seattle from Milan, £1450 to Cape Town from Amsterdam, £1250 to Miami from Milan next Easter, €1749 to Hong Kong from Amsterdam, £917 to Montreal from Dublin, £2128 to Sydney from Oslo, £915 Brussels to Las Vegas etc.
The best thing to do if you are interested is to head over to ba.com and see what you can find.
The only small fly in the ointment is the 7 day minimum stay from many starting points which means that this is no good for a long weekend.
