Get a 20% bonus when you buy Hyatt Gold Passport points

Hyatt Gold Passport has launched a bonus of up to 20% when you buy Gold Passport points before June 1st.

The deal is:

Purchase 1,000 to 19,000 points and get a 10% bonus
Purchase 20,000 to 29,000 points and get a 15% bonus
Purchase 30,000 to 40,000 points and get a 20% bonus

The most expensive room in the Hyatt system will not cost you more than 30,000 points. Hyatt also offers GUARANTEED reward availability if standard rooms are available for cash.

In some circumstances, this can therefore be a good deal.

The Park Hyatt in Paris is €840 on June 9th for example. Buying 30,000 points (ie 27,000 + 15%) would cost you $648 or just €465 – and you are guaranteed availability if they standard rooms left. Such examples are not common but it can offer a good deal if you are desperate, for example, to recreate Lost In Translation at the Park Hyatt Tokyo.

The USA daily getaway deals out later this month normally have Hyatt points for 1c each. Not guaranteed, but could be a better deal.

  True. Only the first 2 weeks out so far and if Hyatt is there beyond week 2 it will go quickly. Plus you need to know the trick of using a UK Amex card to avoid rejection!

    No. You add trailing zeros, so you need 38000. First line of street address also needs to match. Forget state, country and indeed your name.
    
    The Hyatt deal via Daily Getaways does not seem bad at all – especially for Brits who do not have the option of getting the Hyatt credit card or converting Chase points. With only 35 sets of 30k available your chances of grabbing one are not great, but if you are at your PC at the right time it is worth a go.
    
    I may go for it myself as our 30k Hyatt collection (literally 30,600 or something) is about to be wiped out on 2 x 15k rooms in Hamburg for August.
