1,000 free Club Carlson points for following them on Twitter

Club Carlson, the Radisson / Park Inn / Park Plaza hotel group, is offering 1,000 points to the next 15,000 people to follow them on Twitter.

I would value 1,000 points at £5, so this is a decent deal if you have a Club Carlson account.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing (10pm Friday), the website is not working properly.  Once you have followed Club Carlson, the form you need to complete to supply your Club Carlson membership number is not appearing.  It was working earlier in the day, however, so I am taking a punt that they get it working by the time you read this.

You will need a Twitter account to do this, and the rules say that the Twitter account must be over 30 days old.

To earn your Bonus Award, complete the registration form and “follow” the Club Carlson Twitter handle (www.twitter.com/clubcarlson). Promotion limited to one Bonus Award per member. We will award a maximum of 15,000 Bonus Awards. Your Twitter account must be active for a minimum of 30 days to be eligible for the Bonus Award. We will credit your account with the Bonus Award within 4-6 weeks of providing your member information.

How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (December 2021)

Radisson Rewards does not have a dedicated UK credit card. However, you can earn Radisson Rewards points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards.  These include:

• American Express Preferred Rewards Gold (review here, apply here) – sign-up bonus of 20,000 Membership Rewards points converts into 60,000 Radisson Rewards points. This card is FREE for your first year and also comes with two free airport lounge passes.

• The Platinum Card from American Express (review here, apply here) – sign-up bonus of 30,000 Membership Rewards points converts into 90,000 Radisson Rewards points

• American Express Rewards credit card (review here, apply here) – sign-up bonus of 5,000 Membership Rewards points converts into 15,000 Radisson Rewards points. This card is FREE for life.

Membership Rewards points convert at 1:3 into Radisson Rewards points which is a very attractive rate.  The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 3 Radisson Rewards points.
