£50 off BA Club Europe holiday bookings, book by Monday

A quick heads up that British Airways is running a special promotion on short-breaks in Europe at the moment.

When you book a Club Europe break, which means booking both the flight and hotel via British Airways, you can save up to £50.

Full details can be found at ba.com here.

Club Europe British Airways

If you are planning a trip to Europe but do not need a hotel, it is still worth comparing prices.  You may find that you can book the grottiest, cheapest hotel British Airways offers and still come out ahead compared to booking the flights on their own.

If you are booking well in advance, you also get the benefit of being to pay just a £150 deposit now, with the balance not due until 10 weeks before travel.  You don’t get that benefit with normal flight bookings.

(I think BA Holidays also accept 3V cards, and they are definitely happy for you to pay off the balance in numerous small instalments!)

The offer closes on Monday.

How do you pay off the balance in numerous small installments?

    • Richie says:

You have the option to add payment on manage my booking . So paying £25 in 40 times on a £1000 holiday is no problem.

      • kevin cottrell says:

Does it work for flights too?

Can you pay them in in advance?

    • Rob says:

I have never done, but others on here have reported being able to use 3V cards and the T&C’s on the BA Holidays page I link to above confirms that you can pay in multiple installments

  • Fenny says:

I’ve had real trouble with the BA site since Friday night. I ended up booking 2 RFS flights via the Avios site because the BA site was timing out or giving me errors. I could have booked them as flights & hotels, but gave up due to extreme boredom.

Even now, clicking on the link above, the page isn’t loading.

    • Waribai says:

Yes, it’s been rather glitchy since Thursday evening…

      • ian says:

It’s always glitchy in my experience. It’s rarely a smooth experience.

I voted it the ‘worst website in the world’s some months back.

        • Fenny says:

No, that’s BT. They take you round in an endless loop and then go “you can’t do this online, you’ll have to call us, sucker!”

  • pazza2000 says:

I’ve just this weekend booked a BA holiday for family members, would be very interested in hearing reports of using 3V to pay off the balance.

    Couple of questions…

Who earns the ‘bonus’ Avios for this booking? I booked whist logged into my EC account, although I’m not travelling and attached individual FF #’s.

I went through the redspottedhanky rewards links; will I earn 1% back on the deposit paid only or the
    total balance?

  • oyster says:

Are people still using up a stash of 3v cards or are there still bonus points to be had at Tesco for buying them?
