Four day British Airways flash sale NOW ON – in all classes

British Airways has launched a four day flash sale. It started yesterday, and will run until midnight on Tuesday.
In theory, the sale is only for World Traveller and World Traveller Plus. However, a lot of routes are also reduced in Club World as well.
These sale fares are also combinable with the 20% Shell discount promotion on applicable routes! Note, though, that the 20% Shell discount expires at midnight on Monday – 24 hours earlier.
Here are some headline prices in World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World via the BA Low Fare Finder:
New York – £424 / £888 / £1693
San Francisco – £564 / £1141 / £2593
Hong Kong – £594 / £972 / Not in Club World sale
It is also worth flagging £2,109 in Club World to the Maldives (Male) which looks available for most of the year.
In general, the cheapest World Traveller prices are coming up for October, November and December.
The best way to see the prices available is to use the Low Fare Finder tool on ba.com which shows you the cheapest price currently available for each month. To be honest, none of these prices are life changing – business has picked up too much for that – but you should get a better deal than you would have last week (or next week!).
Here is the list of routes taking part in the World Traveller and World Traveller Plus sale:
USA – Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco, Montreal, Orlando, Tampa, Toronto, Vancouver
Other – Cairo, Cape Town, Entebbe, Freetown, Luanda, Monrovia, Johannesburg, Nairobi, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Muscat, Riyadh, Moscow, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Sydney
If you are travelling to Nairobi, Hong Kong, Seoul, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro, Seattle, Vancouver, Dallas Fort Worth, Singapore, Chengdu, Beijing, Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Muscat, you will receive an extra 20% discount on World Traveller and World Traveller Plus seats using code ShellMARZH. To get this extra 20% off, you need to book by midnight on Monday (not Tuesday) and travel between May 1st and the end of June. You can find more details of the Shell promotion here.
Here is the small print for the main sale, which applies to the World Traveller and World Traveller Plus fares:
Book by 23.59 GMT on 25 March
Travel between 22 March and 12 December 2014
Some routes, not all, require a Saturday night stay
Prices for Friday, Saturday and Sunday departures to US and Canada may be higher
It is not clear if the discounted Club World tickets are subject to the same rules, as this seems to be an unofficial sale. Whilst I quoted that £2,109 fare to the Maldives, for example, you will see that Male is not on the World Traveller sale list.
Tickets can be booked via the normal ba.com home page.
